Interesting Day

Today was a huge blast from the past for me. My best friend from H.S. came down with his girlfriend to see me and the rest of the gang. She was really nice, though she didnt look exactly look like I had expected. I think I was expecting her to be a little taller. Overall, excellent pick Matt.

Anyway. So this afternoon, several of us gatherd at my house and played some softball. Something that we did a lot of during H.S. and one of my ex-girlfriends from then, Diane, joined us for the game and dinner. I haven't done anything with her since she graduated from H.S. and went to WSU for Math education. So after dinner at "Sammy's Pizza," a local pizza joint that's really good, we went to game night at Kris' place, where my last girlfriend, Carrie (whom I also dated in H.S.), came to see us.

I chuckled to myself when I realized what had happened. I didnt even think that I would be bringing my last 2 ex's to hang out with the group in the same evening, and not realize it until after it was all said and done. I suppose that shows I'm completely over them without any lingering feelings at all. :)

I also got to talk to Nate and Carmen today about when they will be ariving in Platteville next friday, etc. Basically, I've decided that I'm going to take a half day that friday, my last day anyway, and go down to Platteville earlier than i had originally thought so I can get everything that I want to move in sooner and not have to try and rush at all. Maybe if Nate and I have enough time after we unload our cars, we might be able to go and pick up my boxspring and matress in Dubuque friday instead of saturday morning.

Well everyone, I need to get to bed and hope that my sunburn will go away rather quickly. I did not put sunscreen on this afternoon and I'm hoping I dont pay for it tomorrow.

That's the news from Rollingstone. Thanks for reading.
