Fav Book and weekend Plans

So to answer your question Bryna....I do have a favorite book. I have several actually. I really loved Black Beauty when I read it. I'm always a fan of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. I also read a book on Watergate a long time ago that I would really like to read again. I have it at home, I just don't remember the name of it.

So this weekend I'm going to be in Decorah at Luther College to see my friend K-10 and her senior recital. I became friends with her out in Colorado, the rest of the quartet did too mind you, and she asked us if we'd come and see her recital this weekend in the middle of July, so we made plans for it. Now that weekend is finally here and we're off. It should be a lot of fun. I've been to the Luther campus a few times in my life and I've never been dissappointed. Right now it sounds like we're taking Carmen's car tomorrow early afternoon and coming back sunday morning.

While I'm on the topic of travel, I have to make a comment for people in winona and ask a question to the people in winona. First off, I'll be back next weekend (11th-13th) to come and see Kris, she is my girlfriend of just over a month now, and she has come to see me twice so I am due to come and see her. If anyone in winona wants to try and kidnap me for a little while, you are more than welcome to try. Give me a call and we'll see what I'm up too, assuming my clothers are still on. We all know how Kris can be ;). My question for you is: are you still plannining on coming here the weekend of Nov. 18-20? You're still more than welcome to if you understand that is my recital weekend with my quartet and I will need to spend some time on friday and saturday rehearsing with them to get prepared for the concert. Another way to put this is that you will have a few hours where I will not be able to entertain you. My mother is also planning on coming down that sunday to see the concert, just so you're also aware. Let me know if you are still coming, and who is.

Now...call me a geek, but I try to spend some time evey week looking at what's going on in the space program. I've always liked te space program, and I always wanted to be an astronaut, I would be if the offer were given to me too. Lately I've been noticing that the only News that NASA can give us is that they're consistantly short on money. Every other main article relating to space flight is mostl done by other countries now. Would it be such a crime bring back our troops and spend that money not on oil, but research into technology? One of the many reasons the USA is the world super-power is because we have the best technology available, mostly because of NASA. The calculator that we know today is great example of what the space program did. grrr.....frustrations on how things are being handled by the govendment. But since I'm also complaining, does anyone else have a complaint about the government, or anything for that matter?

That's the news from Platteville. Thanks for reading.
