The Skinny on my life
So things have been going well for me the past few weeks, or almost a month I suppose. Platteville isn't exactly a bustling metropolis, so I stay out of trouble without even trying! I'd say that work has been pretty much the same. There are the usual ups and downs that come with a job that is dependant on the weather, but i keep myself busy for 45 hours plus a week. I have to admit that a lot of the 'barn yard humor' has become increasingly more and more hilarious. I say it's a combination of me being raised on a farm and getting them quickly and that they are, for the most part, just plain funny.
I'm also going to Chicago in a few weeks to go see my anual Cubs game. This year Matt, Christine (i hope I spelled that right), Kris, and I will be going to see the game. I find it funny that Christine and Kris have not been to a ballgame in an outdoor stadium, so I am pretty excited to be able to open them to the experience. It doesn't hurt that we'll be going to good old historic Wrigley, you know, only the place where Babe Ruth hit his famous 'called shot' in the 1932 World series. The Cubs are playing the Cardinals, so I don't expect them to win, but we got bleacher seats this year so it should be fun either way since I've never been in that section too!
Basic bleacher section rules: show up early and don't leave your seat because there are no assigned seats and if you move it, you lose it! Throw back all opposing teams HR, we don't want them.
Otherwise, I can't think of anything else exciting that has been going on. I'll just keep stayin' out of trouble.
